Jill Hennessy
Her multi-ethnic heritage includes Irish, Italians, Swedishs french, Ukrainians, and Italians. Jacqueline's sister is an actor too. Jill was proficient in a variety of languages when she was growing up. It included Italian, French, and Spanish. Jill began to become interested in acting around the age of twelve. She started her acting career in Toronto by appearing in David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers playing an escort along with his twin sister. In the following years, she was studying improv at Second City with Deb Kimmet. A few years later, she moved to New York and signed a deal to portray the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the long running hit series, Law & Order. The three years she spent on the show and beyond, she spent her time working in feature films like RoboCop 3 (1993), Ron Howard's The Paper (1994), and I Shot Andy Warhol (1996). Through the following years she landed roles on a series of forgettable flicks. But in 1999, she landed a starring position in the mini-series uremberg alongside Alec Baldwin. Autumn in New York followed and so did Exit Wounds. In 2001, she got the lead role in the NBC-TV crime series Crossing Jordan and in 2007 she was awarded a Gracie Allen award as "Outstanding Female Lead in the Drama Series" for her work on the show. The actress got married to another actor Paolo Mastropietro in 2000. They share two children. She was inducted to the Canadian Walk of Fame in 2007.
