Kristen Anne Bell is an American actor and singer born in 1980. Parents are Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. Her family was born in Huntington Woods Michigan. Her parents are from Polish heritage (mother) in addition to German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen was already a skilled entertainer in the early stages. In 1992, she went to her very first audition. The audition was for a part in Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell aged 13 when her mother signed up for an agent, was also cast in TV and newspaper advertisements. As well as learning in private classes and acting lessons, she started her career at that time. Bell made an appearance as a guest in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998, as an uncredited actress. Bell took part in the drama and music club in Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz was presented by the high school and she won the part as Dorothy. Bell was a student at an institution called the Tisch School of the Arts which she attended to study Musical Theater at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City. in 2001 Bell left university to perform the part as Becky in Tom Sawyer. The same year, she had her first credit debut with Pootie Tang (2001), however, her performance was cut and she was only seen in the credit sequence. Bell was on Broadway in The Crucible, a revival that featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
