Awkwafina

Awkwafina has been described as an American actor and performer who started her career through clever raps that tackled the issues of sexuality and race with a an edgy, comical perspective. Then she branched out to Hollywood. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Korean immigrants living from Forest Hills Queens. Her first experience with music came via the trumpet. In the following years, she took up traditional and hip-hop training. In her studies, she majored in journalism, and women's studies at college, even taking classes in Mandarin in Beijing during a brief time. Not until after graduation did her focus shift to music. Her song My Vag, a response track to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity via the Internet in 2012. It was eventually included on her first album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. The album also included popular hits that went viral, such as body-positive Queef and the winking tour of her hometown NYC Bitche$. This song is directly linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide for 2015, which was a travel guide. She opted to pursue acting careers after completing her first two endeavors, author and musician. She's appeared in movies including Neighbors 2 Storks as well as Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered many notable roles that were a breakthrough, like Dude Ocean's 8, or Crazy Rich Asians. That June she issued the EP in Fina We Trust.
